1. Who provides this service

2. What these terms cover

They govern the use of this site and any application made through it — workshops, castings, portfolio days and photography sessions. Submitting an application means accepting them.

An individual commission may have its own written agreement. Where the two disagree, that agreement wins.

3. Adult content and age

This site contains artistic nude and glamour photography and is intended for people aged 18 or over. Applications from anyone under 18 are not accepted.

4. How a booking is made

1. You submit the form with your name, email, an optional phone number and a message.
2. You get an automatic email confirming it arrived, carrying a payment reference such as HK-L0042. That email confirms receipt; it is not an acceptance.
3. We read the application. Places are limited by the capacity shown on each event.
4. The contract exists only once we send you a separate acceptance email. Until then nothing is reserved and nothing is owed.
5. If we cannot offer you a place we tell you by email, and refund anything already transferred.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Hungarian forint (Ft) and are «VAT status — e.g. alanyi adómentes / 27% ÁFA included».

Payment is by bank transfer only. There is no card payment and no payment processor, so we never receive your card or account credentials.

Put the payment reference from your confirmation email into the transfer's message field (közlemény). It is the only thing linking your transfer to your application, and a transfer without it can take days to find.

Payment falls due within «8» days of the acceptance email and in every case before the event. A place is confirmed once the transfer lands. An invoice is issued as Hungarian law requires and sent to the address you gave us.

6. Cancelling and rescheduling

If you cancel:

• more than 30 days before the date — full refund;
• between 30 and 14 days before — 50% refund;
• fewer than 14 days before, or not turning up — no refund.

Instead of cancelling you may put someone else in your place, if we agree to it in writing first.

If we cancel or move a date, you choose between a full refund and a place on the new date. Where a session cannot happen for reasons outside anyone's control — illness, weather on an outdoor shoot, a venue falling through — we offer a new date, and refund in full if no date can be agreed.

7. The 14-day right of withdrawal

A consumer buying at a distance normally has 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason (45/2014. (II. 26.) Korm. rendelet §20).

That right does not apply to a workshop, casting or portfolio day tied to a specific date, because §29(1)(l) of the same regulation excludes leisure services booked for a particular day or period. This is why §6 above sets out its own cancellation terms — they are what you have instead.

For a photography session with no agreed date, the 14-day right does apply, running from the day the contract is made. To use it, tell us in a clear statement by email or post before the 14 days are up. We refund within 14 days of receiving it. If you asked us to start work inside that window, we may keep a proportionate amount for what was already done.

8. At the workshop or shoot

• Follow the safety and studio instructions you are given on the day.
• We may turn away, without refund, anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or behaving in a way that endangers or harasses someone else.
• You are responsible for damage you cause to the studio, the equipment or anyone else's property.
• You take part at your own risk, subject to §10.

Tell us in advance about any medical condition, allergy or restriction that could matter on the day.

9. Photographs, image rights and use

Copyright in the photographs stays with us (1999. évi LXXVI. tv.).

Once you have paid in full you get a personal, non-commercial licence to use the delivered images, including on your own social media with a credit. Any commercial use needs a separate written licence.

We use images from a session in our portfolio, on this site and on social media only with your written consent, given in the model release at the shoot. You can withdraw that for future use at any time by writing to hello@hunorkolumban-photography.com; we will take the images off the channels we control, though we cannot recall copies other people have already saved or reshared.

At a workshop, participants photograph the model and each other. Taking part means accepting that you may appear in someone else's frame. Do not publish an image of another participant or of the model without their agreement — the model's own release governs what may be published of them, and it does not extend to you.

Edited images are delivered within the time stated for the session. Unedited RAW files are not delivered. We keep delivered files available for download for six months, so keep your own copy after that.

10. Liability

We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for damage to life, bodily integrity or health. Beyond that our liability is limited to the fee paid for the service in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for your own equipment and belongings brought to a shoot.

Nothing here limits any right a consumer has under Hungarian law that cannot be limited by agreement.

11. Complaints

Write to hello@hunorkolumban-photography.com, or by post to: «mailing address, if different from the seat». We answer within 30 days.

If that does not settle it, as a consumer you can go to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) for your address or for ours — Budapesti Békéltető Testület, 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99., bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu — to the consumer protection department of the competent government office, or to court.

12. The site itself

The photographs, text, design and code on this site are protected by copyright. They may not be copied, republished, or used as training data for machine learning models without our written permission.

13. Governing law and changes

Hungarian law applies. We may change these terms; the version in force when you submit an application is the one that governs your booking, and any change is published here with a new date.
